26 Weeks

Well, it's our last night in NYC. We had one crazy year. We experienced a lot, both good and bad; things we will never forget and things we will probably try really hard to forget, but in the end, we are going home happy and healthy with a bouncing baby on the way.
When asked what this picture caption should read, Milton says, "hopefully the geek genes won't get passed on to the next generation"
The baby went in the car today for his/her 3rd time ever and got very very rambunctious after all the bumps and swerves. Looks like it's going to be Dance Party 2009 all the way home.

24 Weeks The Third Trimester Begins

Today is Milton and I's two year wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe it's already been that long. We couldn't be happier!

Milton thinks I'm silly but I hated being "newly weds." I'm so happy the "honeymoon" is officially over and we can move into the really good stuff, the stuff only old married couples know about each other!!

To celebrate we went to a fabulous New York institution, Peter Luger's Steakhouse. It did not disappoint, and the baby got to have his/her first porterhouse!

I hope the baby has Milton's dimples and freckles!

I'm starting to have a hard time getting up from low positions, needless to say, I don't think my stomach muscles are working at all anymore. Work is becoming more and more challenging as the weeks go on. I'm sure I look like, flustered little waddling nurse, but I still manage to get the job done.

I feel like I'm getting bigger and bigger everyday. I can still tie my own shoes, barely!

Today we also officially entered the third trimester at 24 weeks!

The little rascal is still kicking his/her heals up on a regular basis but I've gotten used to it now and it's sort of comforting.

I don't think there's any denying I'm prego now!

Maternity Shopping

The dress came from Isabella Oliver my new favorite maternity clothes website. I hope it looks as good on me as it does on this model. Yes, it's pricey but the clothes are beautiful and they actually fit "real" people like me!
This is the dress I bought for my baby shower. There's no date, time or location for any such shower yet but at least I have something fabulous to wear if the opportunity presents itself.

Father to be

Milton has been taking very good care of me and the baby. He's been cooking and cleaning and doing everything in between. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful and supportive husband. (this photo was taken in Venice on our honeymoon; one of my favorites)

Happy Mama

Despite my raging hormones and random physical ailments I couldn't be more happy to be pregnant!

Swollen Pigs

Yes, my feet have officially become "pregnant." I am sporting full on cankles and tree trunks for legs. The 12 hour night shifts and heat are not helping the situation either.

23 Weeks

My belly works well as an arm rest now but soon I'm sure we will be able to balance small objects on it.

23 Weeks

It was very hot and very smelly in this subway station.

23 Weeks

This week I feel like my bump got twice as big.
